The MINE - Amorphous Data Collection

Research:
organized study: methodical investigation into a subject in order to discover facts, to establish or revise a theory, or to develop a plan of action based on the facts discovered.

Assumption of this research: Research being disorganized, confused, and takes Amorphous data and then learn how to categorize.

Amorphous Data Collection
1. without shape: without any clear shape, form, or structure
2. not classifiable: not obviously belonging to any particular category or type

The goal is to is to take Amorphous data and find common topics and categories.

This is an experiment, a research methodology that uses automation to collect information, process, categorize. Maybe the greatest benefit is to create a list of people and organizations that work on a specific subject.

Malnutrition is the pilot project; or first test of system, this is a work in progress that evolves and changes.

Research begins in confusion and proceeds to explain clearly

STEP ONE - "The Diamond Mine" : The source of information. The ore where value can be extracted.
An amorphous collection of data.

"THE DIAMOND MINE"
Like a Diamond Mine, there is a mix of good and bad, we try to separate the Diamond from the debris. We create a mine, a place where many links, some good, some bad, but mostly good. This MINE is the source of information or the "Ore" for researchers. It is the starting point. The data is not clean, it has many categories, they are not indexed, they are Amorphous, there is no clear directories, there is no clear architecture. The navigations is nebulous, however we work towards order.

Objective of the  "Mine."

1. A table of contents page where all data categories or subject are listed.
Example: Alphabetical list of subjects
2. A page that allows to see all the information collected as we click on a link in table of contents page.
Example: A UnSorted data page that is paginated where a researcher could preview an click on topic of study.
3. Table of Contents page of all the articles, the page is by title of article and not by data category or subject.
Example: Malnutrition Research Articles

Step Two"Panning the Diamond" Separation of the Diamond from the normal stones
Separate the good from the bad, to appraise the relevance of links and data collected, discarding the irrelevant.

Objective of "Panning."

1. Define the type of page:
Example: Blog, Webpage or News Release.
2. Relevance Check.
Example: If the topic is Starvation, is the page associated with the link about starvation?;

Step Three: "Properties" explaining the distinctive features of the link.

Objective of "Properties."

1. Create a Biography and References of all Links
Example: A person appraises the links, collects information from the page.
2.

Step Four"Diamond Prospecting." Searching for sources, locations of other diamonds.

Objective of "Prospecting."

1. To find all the sources of information on research topic.
Example: To list the name of Malnutrition Books, Magazine, Journals, Sites
2. To list the researchers
Example: A list of all the person who have published information on the subject.

Step Five: "Source Mine" created of prospected sources.

Step Six: "Authors Mine" Mine created of prospected authors of information.

Step Seven: Contact People Involved in Malnutrition

Step Eight: French - Spanish - Italian - German - Portuguesse

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Step Five: Names of Business or Legal Entity Mine Created

Step Six:  Common Word and Phrase Algorithm

Speculation:

- Interactive form page made to request information of people.
- Write all people and companies to request opinions and get reciprocal links.
- BIOGRAPHY PAGE: Creation of biography page of all person and companies, done by person or company.
- FOCUS or think tank session whereby a focus of what is value is assessed
- Focus on Solutions, experiments, hypothesis, and and long-term project to prevent malnutrition.
